Utena Community Family Home invites parents and guardians (caregivers) to register for a free lecture-seminar: "Managing a Child's Emotions".

One of the common reasons for challenges in smooth communication between children and parents is difficulty in recognizing and naming the emotions that arise. And when an emotion goes unnoticed or criticized, the connection breaks down.

This seminar is about how communication changes when your emotions are acknowledged, and what happens when someone tries to deny them. About how managing emotions starts with understanding them - both yours and your child's.

We will talk about:
How to recognize and name the emotions that arise in a child;
How we respond to the emotional well-being of those around us and why it matters;
How activities with your child help strengthen your emotional connection.
