September 24th will be a special day in Utena for those who care about the city's cultural memory, art, and the people who created Utena's cultural history.
This year, the Utena Regional Percussion and Jazz Festival "Utena Jazz" invites you to an event dedicated to the famous Utena brothers - artist Arvydas Šaltenis and writer Saulius Šaltenis. This will not be just an exhibition opening or a concert. It is an attempt to return to the field of Utena's cultural memory through art, literature, theater and music.
This evening can become more than just a meeting with artists. It can be an invitation to take a fresh look at the cultural history of your city and discover what is still waiting to be told.
