The event is free, registration is required: https://forms.gle/LvPmGW1NsATewz2u9
Using movement, dance, musical theater, buffoonery, and open conversation, we will invite you to learn, recognize, and reflect on the various states that occur in the first year after childbirth. When endless joy strikes, you are overwhelmed with everyday life, when you learn to analyze and tolerate all possible fluids and odors that the body can create. When unexpected losses occur, your body and ability to move change. When it seems that the house turns into a gym, where patience muscles are developed, but the exercises are interrupted by some new puddle on the floor. When you are a strong woman, able to lift an incredible amount of things and small people at once, but you feel like a small child looking for help.
The team of the performance consists only of mothers raising small children, at the same time continuing their creative path and reflecting on motherhood in it. They seek commonality and difference in this experience, being completely open, endlessly tired, madly loving, constantly exceeding their capabilities, but at the same time wanting to be left alone. They already know the answer to the question of whether it is possible to combine motherhood and creativity, and still invite you to a unique meeting on this inexhaustible topic.
"This is a unique process, when you know in advance that we will not be able to work half the time due to children's health, patience or exhaustion, other unexpected situations that are everyday in the first years of a child's life. However, this dream team signed up for the journey and continues to the end. Apparently, this conversation is needed not only by us, but also by our environment, society, humanity. And by our children. And by those who did not dare, could not, were not able to speak and chose to leave or live with pain," says Karolina Žernytė, "Žvelk giliau" mental health ambassador.

After the performance, we invite you to a discussion about motherhood. How do women who have become mothers themselves feel and experience it? How do preconceived expectations and societal norms affect reality? How can we survive this time of personality transformation more smoothly – is there help that works?
