We invite you to get to know Utena - this is a great destination for a weekend trip!
During this custom-made tour, professional guides from "Gatvės gyva" will accompany you through the industrial district of Utena and reveal an incredible side of the city. Industry here is truly impressive - it feeds, clothes, warms... and more.
On the tour you will learn:
- What was produced in Utena between the wars;
- How and why industry developed during the Soviet era;
- How intriguing the industrial district is today.
The culmination of the tour is a unique visit to a bunker! You will enter a magnificent bunker ("bunker") that previously belonged to the "Utenos trikotažas" company. Here, you will be treated to stories from guides and authentic exhibits from the city's industrial history.
