We celebrated World Tourism Day together! 
Thank you to all Utena region tourism and public sector representatives, entrepreneurs and community members who came to the discussion "TOURISM - WE TALK AND CREATE" today.
During the meeting, we presented the activities of the Public Enterprise Utena Business and Tourism Agency, the team and the opportunities for working together. The mayor of the Utena District Municipality presented what positive changes await the tourism sector. Perhaps the most valuable part of the discussion was a lively, open and inspiring conversation about how together we can make the Utena region even more attractive to incoming visitors.
What did we discuss?
Concentration and infrastructure
We are pleased that the Utena District Municipality and public sector representatives care not only about the quality of life of local residents, but also purposefully develop infrastructure adapted to inbound tourism.
Green tourism and investments
In the discussion, we paid much attention to green tourism ideas, investment locations in the Utena district, and sustainable and cultural perspectives for the development of the Utena region.
Shared responsibility for the guest experience
Travelers choose Utena itself, not individual services – therefore, its experience is a shared responsibility for all of us. We discussed that we aim to give visitors a complete and high-quality experience: from engaging excursions and education to a comfortable stay with quality food and accommodation.
