We invite you to take a walk along the Vyžuonai heathland nature trail, which is ~ 7 km long. Along the way, you will find a key forest habitat, the old Vyžuonai burial mounds, a botanical reserve, natural meadows, and read a legend about what makes our beloved Lake Baltys so special.
Trail location :
The Vyžuonai nature trail can be reached from Vyžuonai towards Užpaliai, by turning right at the sign "Vyžuonai Botanical Municipal Reserve - 2.1 km". After driving about 300 meters, on the left side, there is a forest area where, after leaving the cars, you can set off on foot to the almost 7 km nature trail, which is dedicated to the memory of journalist and naturalist Leonardos Grudzinskas.
